Jennifer Botelho, PA-C
Jennifer Botelho, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in adult urologic oncology. She attended the University of California at Los Angeles and Montana State University in Bozeman for undergraduate studies with degrees in anthropology and microbiology respectively. With an eye towards a career in medicine, she worked as a clinical research assistant in the OHSU Multiple Sclerosis Clinic before deciding on a career as a physician assistant. She graduated from the OHSU Physician Assistant Program in 2002 with a Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies and has been practicing full time ever since.
As a physician assistant, she has clinical experience in general urology, orthopedic surgery, gastroenterology, and the solid tumor and hematologic malignancies. Over the years, she developed a particular interest in caring for urology and oncology patients and feels fortunate to now have the opportunity to combine the two disciplines. She works as part of a physician/PA team with the goal of providing comprehensive, attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families. She practices in the clinic and hospital setting, as well as in the operating room and has assisted in hundreds of open and laparoscopic/robotic cases.
She has professional memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Urological Association.
