William Simpson, PA-C

William Simpson, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant who started practicing at Northwest Urology, LLC in 2019. He was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. William was first introduced to Urology when he worked as a medical scribe at Northwest Urology in 2016 before going on to earn a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2019 graduating with honors.

Being an Oregon native William was thrilled to return to the Pacific Northwest after graduating and since 2019 has been working with the Urologists at our NW Portland office where he delivers team-based and patient focused care. William works in general urology and offers care for a broad range of urologic concerns. William enjoys practicing in Urology because it allows him the opportunity to make an impact on a patient’s quality of life whether that be for treatment or prevention of kidney stones, sensitive sexual or urinary dysfunction, or navigating a challenging cancer diagnosis. He always strives to deliver care with a warm, and caring perspective focusing on patient centered care where he engages in shared decision making to determine a plan that will meet a patient’s needs.

In his free time William enjoys motorcycling, hiking, gardening, tending to his flock of backyard ducks, practicing Kendo, spending time with his wife and dogs, and enjoying the food scene of Portland.
